VIKOR is a compromise multi-attribute decision-making method proposed by Opricovic (1998). Similar to other compromised solution-based approaches, it considers the solution which is closest to the ideal. In this chapter, we adapted the interval type-2 fuzzy sets (IT2FSs) into VIKOR as it reflects the uncertainty well in decision-making. IT2FVIKOR algorithm under the Fine–Kinney concept provides a useful and solid approach to the occupational health and safety risk assessment. In addition to proposing this new approach, a case study is performed in a gun and rifle barrel external surface oxidation and coloring unit of a gun factory. A validation and a sensitivity analysis is also attached to this study. Finally, the proposed approach is implemented in Python.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH</dc:publisher><dc:date>2021</dc:date><dc:type>Book Chapter</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/munzur/3246</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-52148-6_9</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1434-9922</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Studies in Fuzziness and Soft Computing</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/bookPart</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://munzur-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/munzur/3246</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
