Araştırmayla var olan durum olduğu gibi tespite yönelik olduğundan nicel araştırma yaklaşımlarından ilişkisel tarama modelinde desenlenmiştir. Tezin araştırma evrenini, 2021-2022 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında (01.01.2022-30.06.2022 tarihleri arasındaki kurslar) Halk Eğitimi Merkezinde açılan kurslara katılan 767 kursiyer, örneklemini ise bu kursiyerler arasından ulaşılabilen ve basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 352 kursiyer oluşturmuştur. Veriler Millî Eğitim Bakanlığınca Halk Eğitim Merkezlerinde açılan kurslara katılan kursiyere yönelik hazırlanıp uygulanan "Kursiyer Memnuniyet Anketi" ve "Kursa Katılma Sebepleri/Nedenleri Anketi" aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Anketler Etik Kurul kararı ve ilgili makamlardan gerekli izinler alınarak uygulanmıştır. Anketlerle elde edilen verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistiksel teknikler (yüzdelik, frekans, ortalama ve standart sapma), değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesinde Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı, ilişkisiz üç ya da daha çok örneklem ortalaması arasındaki farkın anlamlılığını test etmek için ise ANOVA'dan yararlanılmıştır. ANOVA test sonuçlarının anlamlı çıkması durumunda ise farkın hangi gruplar asında olduğuna ilişkin Post Hoc testi uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonucu kursiyerlerin kursa katılma nedenleri puanlarının ortalaması cinsiyet ve eğitim düzeylerine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterirken, kurs türü ile daha önce kursa katılma ve katılmama durumuna göre puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır (p<.05). Aynı şekilde kurstan kursiyerlerin memnuniyetleri cinsiyete ve eğitim düzeylerine göre puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık çıkmasına karşılık, diğer demografik özellikler yönünden anlamlı bir farklılık çıkmamıştır (p<.05). Sonuç olarak; Halk Eğitimi Merkezinin açtığı kurslara kadın kursiyerlerin daha fazla ilgi duydukları; kursiyerlerin kursa katılma nedenlerine (X̄=1.5) ve kurstan memnuniyet ifadelerine kadınların ve erkeklerin orta (X̄=1.5) düzeyde katıldıkları, bu düzeylerin beklenen düzeyler olmadığı, bu nedenle Halk Eğitimi Merkezlerinin amaçlarını gerçekleştirmeye uygun niteliklere kavuşturulması için gerekli tedbirlerin mutlaka alınması gerektiği yargısına varılmıştır.For this purpose, Hozat Public Education Center is to examine the lifelong learning scope, the reasons for the participation of the trainees to the courses initiated by the Public Education Centers and the increase in the user density. The situation with the research is designed in the relational scanning model, which is one of the good research approaches, as they are for determination. The research dimensions of the thesis consisted of 767 trainees who attended the courses opened in the Public Education Center in the 2021-2022 academic year (courses between 01.01.2022-30.06.2022), and the research consisted of 352 trainees who could be reached among these trainees and selected by simple random process methods. The data were collected by the Ministry of National Education with the "Trainee Satisfaction Questionnaire" and "Reasons/Reasons for Attending the Course", which were prepared and placed for the trainees attending the courses opened in Public Education Centers. Questionnaires Ethics Committee decision and necessary permissions from the relevant authorities were applied. Descriptive bounds techniques (percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation) were used in the analysis of data obtained by questionnaires, Pearson Correlation Coefficient in examining the relationship between variables, and ANOVA was used to test the spread of the difference between the mean of three or more unrelated measurements. In the case of ANOVA test results, the Post Hoc test was applied regarding the assumption of which groups the difference was. While the result of the analysis showed the direction of the trainees' reasons for attending the course according to their average gender and educational status, it did not come to a conclusion between the type of the course and their scores according to the rates of attending or not participating in the course before (p<.05). Likewise, although the satisfaction of the trainees had a determinant effect between their scores according to gender and education, it did not reach a conclusion within the scope of other demographic characteristics (p<.05).
