Hayao miyazaki in the east-west synthesis

Özet

One of the reasons why Japanese anime has an important place in world cinema is the films of Hayao Miyazaki. What makes Miyazaki different; Although the films contain traditional Japanese culture in a very intense way, it has succeeded in creating a source from Western (European) culture by idealizing it with its good aspects. Although examples of such an understanding are frequently encountered in Japanese popular culture, Miyazaki is distinguished from his peers by the notion of belief in humanity, which he often employs in his animes shaped by the naive romantic attitude he adopts. This has contributed to the transformation of movies into a universal language of expression of a whole genre (anime-manga). Miyazaki aims to convey his view of the world's problems and his message, which includes his suggestion that an alternative end is possible, in his works without sacrificing his political and critical point of view. For this reason, Miyazaki Cinema has an important place in terms of the unique expression language of his works on the synthesis of East and West. In the light of such a perspective, it is aimed to touch on the subject, formal, fictional and technical references that make the works successful.
