This study was carried out in Uzunçayır Dam Lake between May 2011 and September 2012. A total of 334 specimens (169 male, 161 female and 4 juvenile) of Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758), which ranged between 0-XI age groups, were investigated in study and male/female ratio was determined to be 1:0.95. Total length values ranged from 13.00 to 36.20 cm for males, from 13.60 to 33.80 cm for females; weight values ranged from 25.82 to 616.00 g for males, from 22.10 to 494.00 g for females; condition factor values ranged from 1.041 to 1.233 for males and from 0.890 to 1.298 for females. Length-weight relationship equation was determined as W= 0.0073TL3.1357 (R2=0.95) for all population. The von Bertalanffy growth parameters of population were calculated as L∞=40.29 cm, K=0.16 year-1, t0=-1.76 year, W∞=800.46 g

This study was carried out in Uzunçayır Dam Lake between May 2011—September 2012. total of 349 individuals (222 male, 127 female) of Capoeta trutta (Heckel, 1843) investigated in study, samples was determined which ranged between l-XII age groups and male/female ratio was determined to be 0.57. Total length values ranged from 17.2 to 41 cm for males, from 21.4 to 43 .1 cm for females; weight values ranged from 48.0 to 612.0 for males, from 86.0—747.0 for females; condition factor values ranged from 0.65 to 1.297 for males and from 0.627 to .433 for females. However, length—weight relationship equation was determined as W: 0.0096TL2'9856 (R2 0.93) for males, W: 0.0052TL3'1644 (R2 0.93) females and W: 0.0082TL3'0327 (R2:0.94) for all population. The VBBD parameters were found L,: 49.58, K: 0.09, to: -4.00, W7 1109.06 and natural mortality rate (M) 0.236 for all population.

Keban Baraj Gölünde yaşayan Luciobarbus esocinus heckel, 1843’ün bazı biyolojik özellikleri

Yüksel, Fahrettın; Türkgülü, İbrahim; Yüce, Songül; Celayir, Yasin; Şen, Dursun; Çoban, Mehmet Zülfü; Yildiz, Nurettin; Eroglu, Mücahıt

This study was carried out in Luciobarbus esocinus obtained from Keban Reservoir (Elazığ) between March 2008 and October 2009. During the research, it was determined that the percentage of male, female and undefined individuals from 187 L. esocinus were 45.455%, 37.433% and 17.112% respectively. The ages of population were distributed between I and XVII. The lengths of the individuals ranged from 23.0 to 112.4 cm and the weight of them ranged from 118 to 18042 g. The length and weight equation for population was determined as Wall individuals = 0.0057TL3.2187 (n= 187, r= 0.98). The highest GSI values of both sexed were obtained in March and these values were decreased rapidly after this month. It was determined that the condition factor increased until age 5 and then, it decreased respectively.
