Gücer, Mehmet Ali; Delimehmet, Zeynep; Çimen, Okay
Middle-Late Carboniferousgranitic rocks are widely observed in larger outcrops in the Eastern Pontide orogenic belt of the Eastern Sakarya Zone. This tectonic belt is an important part of the Anatolian plate in terms of containing igneous rocks with a wide age and composition range. This study presents new petrochemical-petrological data on Carboniferous granites in the G & uuml;neydere and surrounding area of Bayburt (NE Turkey). The granitic rocks, which include an area of approximately 5 km, represent the pre-Jurassic basement in the study area. Besides, they are unconformably overlain by Early- Middle Jurassic volcano-clastics units and Late Jurassic- Early Cretaceous limestones. They mainly consist ofgranite, granite porphyry and aplite, to a lesser extent granodiorite and quartz monzonite. Rocks have high SiO2 contents (60.43-75.51%) and high K calc-alkali to shoshonitic affinities and have been derived from an I-type source. The granitic rocks are metalumine-peralumine in character and are similar to postcollisional volcanic arc granitoids. Whole-rocks major and trace element trends show that plagioclase, hornblende, biotite, apatite, and Fe-Ti oxide mineral fractionations play an important role in the formation of the rocks. It has been revealed that fractional crystallization and assimilation+magma mixing processes play a role in the development of granites. Also, the saturation temperatures calculated from the whole-rock zircon values reflect lower initial magma temperatures. All results obtained indicate that parental magma of studied granitic rocks have evolved from lower/middle crust- derived melts as a result of partial melting and differentiated and emplaced in the continental magma chamber.

İncele - MakaleAçık Erişim2019Public transportation graph: A graph theoretical model of public transportation network for efficient trip planning
Serin, Faruk; Mete, Suleyman
The presentation and usage of traditional graphs is very important for effective and fast solution of routing in public transportation. However, the traditional graph approach is unable to consider the passenger requests such as total travel time, minimum number of transfer and total distance of travel without pre-processing and/or post-processing. Moreover, the vehicles are not represented on traditional graph. In this paper, after analyzing the different kind of graphs, we propose a novel graph named as public transportation graph. The proposed graph models the public transportation system and considers distance, waiting time, travel time, self-transportation and number of transfers simultaneously for efficient trip planning. In this way, passenger requests can be met without pre-processing and post-processing. In addition, the vehicles are also considered and demonstrated in the proposed graph.

İncele - MakaleAçık Erişim2018Forward supply Chain network design problem: Heuristic approaches
Koc, Cagri; Özceylan, Eren; Kesen, Saadettin Erhan; Çil, Zeynel Abidin; Mete, Suleyman
Determining positions and counting of actors, amount of product flowbetween and decreasing transportation costs are handled as a networkdesign problem in supply chain management. Supply chain networkdesign (SCND) problem belongs to the class of NP-hard problems. It hastherefore appealed to a number of researchers’ close attention. However, existing literature lacks of common benchmark instances forforward SCND problems so as to make a fair comparison betweendeveloped and applied heuristic approaches. To this end, 450 newbenchmark instances ranging from small to large size for forward SCNDproblems with two, three and four-echelon are generated and amathematical model for each of the problems is formulated. Due to thecomplexity issues, we develop two heuristic solution approaches, geneticalgorithm (GA) and hybrid heuristic algorithm (HHA), and we applythem to the large pool of benchmark instances. Comparativeexperiments show that both the GA and HHA can yield feasible solutionsin much less computational time and, in particular, outperforms CPLEXregarding the solution quality as the number of echelon grows.

In this study, tetracycline and degradation products were determined in the basins of a trout farm and in the stream carrying the waters of trout farm. 4-epianhydrotetracycline (EATC) and anhydrotetracycline (ATC) concentrations were determined under the detection limit in upstream of trout farm. The highest and lowest tetracycline concentrations detected in trout farm are 7.64±0.38 ppb and under detection limit, respectively. The highest and lowest 4-epitetracycline concentrations were 16.2±0.8 and 1.85±0.09 ppb, respectively while the highest and lowest 4-epianhydrotetracycline concentrations detected in trout farm were 25.8±1.3 and 6.12±0.30 ppb, respectively. The highest and lowest anhydrotetracycline concentrations detected in trout farm were 18.5±0.9 and 6.24±0.31 ppb, respectively. Mean tetracycline, 4-epitetracycline, 4-epianhydrotetracycline and anhydrotetracycline concentrations were 3.52±0.17; 5.30±0.26; 14.4±0.7 and 9.64±0.48 ppb in downstream of trout farm. When upstream and downstream were compared in terms of tetracycline and degradation products it could be said that Keban stream was affected as a result of activity of trout farm

Kismet, Yilmaz
