Önen, Cihan; Sandıkçı, Muhammed Bahadır; Dincer, Erhan
The present study aims to investigate the health behaviors of university office workers related to the working environment, compare them with leisure time satisfaction, and\rsuggest ergonomic solutions. Office workers at Bitlis Eren University and Munzur University, which are situated in the eastern part of Turkey, constituted the population\rof this study. The sample size was 196 based on the formula [n = (N*t2*p*q)/d2*(N-1)+t2*p*q)], which was applied when the number of people in the population was\rknown. The required sample size was determined based on the estimation of a proportion of 0.5 in a finite population of 401, with a 95% confidence interval of ± 0.05 using\rsimple random sampling. The data of Questionnaire and Leisure Satisfaction Scale (LSS) were collected from 178 participants by a face-to-face interview voluntarily. The\rfindings obtained in this study showed that nearly half of the participants did not sufficiently support their wrists and backs and did not adjust their working posture or the\rscreen inclination and brightness. The mean score of leisure time satisfaction was higher for those who worked in places with ideal physical conditions, including heat and\rsound insulation and in places with good psychological conditions without stress and work overload. The leisure time satisfaction score was significantly higher among\rthose who engaged in leisure time activities, such as recreational activities reading books, and physical activity. It was observed that employees in offices with improved\rnoise, heat, workload and stress had better satisfaction levels in leisure time. One cannot separate leisure activities from workplace activities and both should be conducted\rin harmony. As an ergonomic solution, the worktable and tools should be comfortable and designed in a way that does not require the back muscles to be strained.

Barut, Sümeyye; Baransel, Esra Sabancı; Can, Aylin
This study was carried out to determine the effects of healthy lifestyle behaviors on the COVID-19 vaccine attitude in the Z generation. The descriptive cross-sectional\rstudy was conducted in Turkey using web-based questionnaires, and 510 participants (348 women, 162 men, age 15-24) in the Z generation. The data were collected\rby using Personal Information Form and Health Lifestyle Behaviors Scale-II (HLBS-II). It was determined that 89.4% of the female participants and 85.8% of the male\rparticipants, who participated in the study, had the COVID-19 vaccine. It was determined that 84.2% of the women who had the COVID-19 vaccine received the second\rdose, while 76.3% of the men had the second dose. It was determined that the mean scores of women and men who had COVID-19 vaccine, found the COVID-19 vaccines\rsafe, and believed that it was more beneficial than harm, had higher mean scores from HLBS-II and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (p<0.05).\rAs a result of this study, it was determined that the healthy lifestyle behavior levels of the Z generation have an effective role on the COVID-19 vaccine attitudes during\rthe COVID-19 pandemic process.
