On the new wave behavior to the Klein–Gordon–Zakharov equations in plasma physics

    Baskonus, H.M.; Sulaiman, T.A.; Bulut, H.

In this study, the extended sinh-Gordon equation expansion method is used in constructing various exact solitary wave solutions to the Klein–Gordon–Zakharov equations. The Klein–Gordon–Zakharov equations is a nonlinear model describing the interaction between the Langmuir wave and the ion acoustic wave in a high-frequency plasma. We successfully construct some topological, non-topological, compound topological and non-topological, singular, compound singular solitons and singular periodic wave solutions. Under the choice of suitable values of the parameters, the 2D, 3D and contour graphs to some of the reported solutions are also plotted.

New singular soliton solutions to the longitudinal wave equation in a magneto-electro-elastic circular rod with M-derivative

    Baskonus, H.M.; Gómez-Aguilar, J.F.

In this paper, using the Bernoulli sub-equation function method, we obtain new dark, complex and singular soliton solutions for the longitudinal wave equation in a magneto-electro-elastic circular rod with M-derivative. Many new complex singular soliton solutions are successfully extracted. For better understanding of physical meanings, we plotted 2D and 3D graphs along with contour simulations.

Regarding some novel exponential travelling wave solutions to the Wu–Zhang system arising in nonlinear water wave model

    Yel, G.; Baskonus, H.M.; Bulut, H.

In this paper, our main aim is to find the new travelling wave solutions to the Wu–Zhang system which describes dispersive long waves. Some new and important travelling wave solutions with rational and exponential function structures are successfully constructed by using the improved Bernoulli subequation function method. All the obtained solutions in this study satisfy the Wu–Zhang system. The interesting three- and two-dimensional surfaces to all the obtained solutions are plotted. We carried out all the computations and the graphics plots in this paper with aid of the Wolfram Mathematica 9.

On the exact and numerical solutions to the coupled Boussinesq equation arising in ocean engineering

    Sulaiman, T.A.; Bulut, H.; Yokus, A.; Baskonus, H.M.

The studies of the dynamic behaviors of nonlinear models arising in ocean engineering play a significant role in our daily activities. In this study, we investigate the coupled Boussinesq equation which arises in the shallow water waves for two-layered fluid flow. The modified exp (- φ(ζ)) -expansion function method is utilized in reaching the solutions to this equation such as the topological kink-type soliton and singular soliton solutions. The interesting 2D and 3D graphics of the obtained analytical solutions in this study are presented. Via one of the reported analytical solutions, the finite forward difference method is used in obtaining the approximate numerical and exact solutions to this equation. The Fourier–Von Neumann analysis is used in checking the stability of the used numerical method with the studied model. The L 2 and L ∞ error norms are computed. We finally present a comprehensive conclusion to this study.

Cancer treatment model with the Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative

Ali Dokuyucu, Mustafa; Celik, Ercan; Bulut, Hasan; Mehmet Baskonus, Haci

In this article, a model for cancer treatment is examined. The model is integrated into the Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative first, to examine the existence of the solution. Then, the uniqueness of the solution is investigated and we identified under which conditions the model provides a unique solution.

Bright, dark optical and other solitons to the generalized higher-order NLSE in optical fibers

Baskonus, Haci Mehmet; Sulaiman, Tukur Abdulkadir; Bulut, Hasan

In this paper, we study the generalized higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation analytically. We use two integral schemes for conducting this study. Dark, bright, combined dark–bright optical, singular soliton, soliton-like and trigonometric function solutions are successfully constructed. We give the constraint conditions for the existence of valid solutions. The 2D, 3D and the contour graphs for the dark and bright solitons are plotted.
