The aim of this study is to evaluate the cheese production process, which plays a significant role in the milk and dairy industry, in terms of physical, chemical, and microbiological risks using the integrated Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Intuitionistic Fuzzy TOPSIS (IF-TOPSIS) methods. Although the classical FMEA method is a widely used analytical technique that helps identify and reduce potential risks in processes, it has some drawbacks: such as the possibility that different failure modes may have the same risk priority values (RPN) and risk factor weights. To address this shortcoming, the intuitionistic fuzzy set theory was used to determine the RPN values. This study aimed to identify failures that may occur at critical steps in the production chain, their possible causes, their impact on product quality, and the priority of preventive actions. The study demonstrates that the intuitionistic fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach is an effective tool for food safety and quality management in the dairy products industry.

The coronavirus pandemic, which affects the whole world, continues to spread rapidly. The pandemic has reached a serious extent and the risks are getting deeper. The sector most affected by the pandemic has been the health sector and health personnel have become an indispensable element of this process. The people at highest risk of being infected are nurses who are in contact with or are responsible for the care of COVID-19 patients. This study was conducted to investigate the transmission risk of COVID-19 infection among nurses who care for patients in intensive care units. In this study, to prevent the transmission of infection from patient to nurse, possible failures in the process were determined by experts selected from nurses, and risk analyses were performed using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Entrophy-based Grey Relational Analysis methods. In this study, the three most probable and high-priority failure types were determined in the failures made in the procedures for the transmission of the infection from the patient to the nurse. There is a need to increase the quantity and quality of intensive care unit care personnel to manage new waves of COVID-19 or possible pandemic situations effectively.

The aim of this study is to establish the Turkish Lokomotif Sanayi A.Ş., which serves as the locomotive of the Turkish Heavy Industry. (TÜLOMSAŞ) 14 bench, 30 personnel and bogie workshop business process change engineering methods by using simulation models suitable for Hammer Champy model, to renew the processes, to utilize the technology more while renewing the processes and to produce much better quality products. To do this, six scenarios were developed by considering the constraints of the factory and all the business processes which were either feasible, but whose operation was uncertain, and models were created by using the computerized ARENA 9.0 Simulation program in this scenario. As a result of total 12 months of change engineering engineering applications, the scenario giving the closest result to the most applicable targets was selected and the annual bogie amount was increased to 2164 with the scenario selected while the annual bogie amount was 2029 before the change engineering application. With this study, the change that will be realized with the change engineer applications in the railway sector will be able to eliminate all the uncertainty states with the established simulation models and to examine the business processes in detail.

This study has been conducted to assess the perceived service quality of Turkish Railways Corporation (TCDD), which is in the process of reorganization. For achievement of the purpose of the study, the relationships between service quality and demographic characteristics of customers have been examined and the results have been compared to the service quality measurements done in 2004. Perceived service quality is measured using widely accepted SERVQUAL scale that is developed by Parasuraman, Zeithaml and Berry. Data has been collected from primary sources. Respondents have been given the statements in proportional way. Data analysis is performed by reliability checks, computation of means, t-test for independent samples and finally ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). Using the results, the most important dimension for respondents is selected among the five dimensions of service quality. It has been observed that there are meaningful improvements in the each of service quality dimensions from angel of the amount of investments. However, it is also seen that the improvements are not enough and customers expect more than current service quality in all the dimensions of service quality.
