  The Effect of the Level of Self-Efficacy Confidence of the Nurses on Their Performance: Example of Elazig Province

  With this study, it was aimed to determine the level of self-efficacy beliefs and how these beliefs affect their performance of nurses working in hospitals in the city of Elazig. Nurses of hospitals operating in the city of Elazig constitute the universe of research. There are a total of 8 hospitals including 4 public and 4 private in Elazig. A total of 1,535 nurses are employed in these hospitals. The sample consists of 309 randomly selected nurses representing the universe. In this study, the quantitative research method has been used and data obtained through the face -to-face survey technique. In this study, the main statistical analyses used are descriptive statistics, reliability analysis and regression. The study findings showed that the nurses' self-efficacy belief levels (X=4.27; sd=0.52) and performances (X=4.11; sd=0.64) was high. Self-efficacy belief levels was found to have a positive low effect on employee performance. Self-efficacy may be effective at a rate of 6% on employee performance (r=0.253; r2=0.064; p<0.001).

  Vatandaşların belediye hizmet kalitesi algılamaları üzerinde belediye başkanlarının liderlik (Hükümdar/hizmetkâr) özelliklerinin belirleyiciliği: TRB - I Bölgesi örneği

  Bu çalışmanın amacı, vatandaşların belediye hizmetlerinin kalitesini nasıl algıladıklarının ve bu kalite algılaması üzerinde belediye başkanlarının liderlik özelliklerinin belirleyiciliğinin tespit edilmesidir . Araştırmanın evrenini, TRB - Ibölgesinde yer alan il merkezi belediyelerinin sınırları içerisinde yaşayan seçmenler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, hizmetkâr liderlik ile belediye hizmetlerinin kalitesi arasında güçlü ve pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur.Hükümdar liderlik ile belediye hizmetlerinin kalitesi arasında ise zayıf ve negatif bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

  According to the views voter the municipal service quality: A scale development study

  The purpose of the present study is to provide the literature of Turkish local politics with a scale for measuring municipality service quality. The universe of the study consists of electors, who live central cities located in the TRB-1 region. Firstly, a pool of items was formed for the scale. The raw data obtained from the pilot application were analyzed with descriptive tests, a reliability test, an item-total correlation test , a lower-upper 27% difference test and confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, the scale was found to be valid and reliable.
