Özan, Mukadder Boydak; Şener, Gönül; Polat, Hakan; Yaraş, Zübeyde; Gündüzalp, Seda
Birçok sektörde kadın yöneticilerin sayısı giderek artmaktadır. Eğitim sektöründe de oransal açıdan kadın yönetici sayısı artmakla birlikte, nicelik bakımdan bu sayının azlığı dikkat çekmekte ve kadınların neden eğitim alanında yöneticiliği tercih etmediği sorusu gündemdeki yerini korumaktadır. Kadın yönetici sayısının nicel olarak hala istenilen düzeyde olmamasından dolayı okul müdürlerinin kadın öğretmenlerin yöneticilik yapabilirliğine inancını ortaya çıkaracak ve onları cesaretlendirecek personel güçlendirme tekniklerini uygulamalarının önemi ve kadın öğretmenlerin yönetici olma istekleri üzerindeki etkisinin ortaya konulmasını sağlayan bu çalışmada vignette tekniği kullanılmıştır. Kadın öğretmenlerin görüşleri dikkate alınarak elde edilen vignettelerin incelenmesinde nitel araştırmaların çözümlemesinde kullanılan "içerik analizi" yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada genel anlamda, yöneticilerin personeli güçlendirici davranışlarının kadın öğretmenlerin yönetici olma isteğinde olumlu yönde etki bırakacağı sonucu elde edilmiştir.
