Bu araştırmanın amacı, Edmodo eğitsel sosyal ağ sitesinin kullanımının üniversite öğrencilerinin algılarına göre değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırma olgubilim desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Kayseri Üniversitesi Hüseyin Şahin Meslek Yüksekokulu Bilgisayar Teknolojileri bölümü öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi ve olgu bilimi deseni kullanılarak hazırlanan araştırmanın çalışma grubu için ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 7’si kadın ve 12’si’i erkek olmak üzere toplam 19 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analizi yöntemine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda, üniversite öğrencilerinin Edmodo eğitsel sosyal ağ uygulamasına ilişkin görüşleri beş farklı tema altında değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrenciler Edmodo’ya ilişkin olarak uygulamanın paylaşım yapmaya imkân tanıması, iletişimi güçlendirmesi, zaman ve mekândan bağımsız bir öğrenme ortamı sunması gibi olumlu özeliklerini vurgularken; uygulama dilinin ve arayüzünün zor tarafları olması, amaç dışı kullanım ile zaman kaybına sebep olması ve internet bağlantısı gerektirmesi gibi durumları da olumsuz olarak nitelendirmişlerdir. Ayrıca Edmodo eğitsel sosyal ağ sitesinin derse olumlu etkileri öğrenciler tarafından bilişsel ve duyuşsal bağlamda değerlendirilmiştir.

Bu araştırmanın amacı meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde çevrimiçi öğrenmeye ilişkin hazırbulunuşluk ve tutum düzeyleriarasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Türkiye’de İç Anadolu Bölgesi’ndeki bir üniversitenin meslek yüksekokulu öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Çevrimiçi ÖğrenmeHazırbulunuşluk Ölçeği” ve “Çevrimiçi Öğrenme Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır.Ölçek 264 kadın ve 48 erkek olmak üzere toplam 312 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır.Verilerin çözümlenmesinde öncelikle Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi uygulanarakverilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra veriler cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, teknoloji kullanma düzeyi ve internet kotası değişkenleri için bağımsız gruplar t testi; bölüm ve sisteme bağlanmak için kullanılan teknolojik cihazdeğişkenleri için ise varyans testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye ilişkin hazırbulunuşluk düzeyi ile tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyiölçmek için Pearson Korelasyon katsayısı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucundaöğrencilerin çevrimiçi öğrenmeye ilişkin hazırbulunuşluk düzeyleri ile çevrimiçiöğrenmeye ilişkin tutumlarını birbirlerini pozitif yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine metaphorical perceptions of Computer Programming students of Computer Programming apllications. Phenomenological research design was used in the study. Study group includes students of Computer Programming Departments of Karakoçan Vocational College of Fırat University and Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational College of Kayseri University in 2018-2019 academic year. Easy accessible case sampling method was used to select the study group. Volunteer students participated the study and of the 108 students, 30 were female and 78 were male. Data of the study were collected through the use of the prompt “Computer Programming Applications are like…………..because………….”. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. Two categories were identified based on positive and negative metaphorical images to ward the concept of computer programming applications. Positivemet phorical images can be listed as follows: Computer Programming Applications develop creativity, the systematic, holistic and relative, they have continuous and permanent structure, the entertaining, they provide diversity, practice and build communication with technological world while negative metaphorical images are mentioned as follows; Computer Technological Applications are difficult, impossible to apply and annoying.

The aim of this qualitative study is to determine vocational college’s students’ perceptions ofdistance education. Study group included 36 students enrolled at the departments of Computer Technologies(five students), Office Management and Executive Assistance (eight students), Child Development (18students) and Logistics (five students) at Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational College of Kayseri University during Spring term of 2019-2020 academic year. Phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the study. Study group was selected based on maximum diversity sampling. Volunteer students were included into the study. An interview form including 10 semi-structured questions developed by the researchers was used as the data collection tool. The data were analyzed based on descriptive analysis method. Study results revealed that students’ had both positive and negative opinions to wards distance education. Ten themes were determined based on study results; ‘students’ feelings to wards the decision of distance education’, ‘opinionson distance education system the university offered’, ‘information and support activities by the university’,‘positive effects of online courses on learning process’, ‘negative effects of online courses on learning process’,‘activities in distance education system’, ‘suitability of courses for distance education’, ‘system problems’,‘technological infrastructure problems’ and ‘simultaneous use of face to face education and distance education system’. Several recommendations are suggested based on the study results. The students expressed bothpositive and negative opinions about the distance education system.

The aim of this study is to determine opinions of the students of Computer Technologies department on using computer aided applications in Technical and Vocational Drawing course. The sample of the study is students in Computer Technologies department, in Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational College at Erciyes University in 2017-2018 academic year. Phenomenology method, one of the qualitative research design, was used in the study. Sampled through convenience sampling method, a total of 35 students were interviewed. An interview form including semi-structured questions was used as the data collection tool. Data were analyzed based on descriptive analysis method. Study results revealed that students had both positive and negative opinions in cognitive and affective contexts towards the use of computer aided applications in Technical and Vocational Drawing course
